Allowing for intricate designs and multiple colors to be combined with metallic effects in a single run. It’s commonly used in packaging, labels, and promotional materials to enhance visual appeal and create eye-catching designs without the complexity of traditional foiling methods. Unlike traditional hot foiling methods, which require heated dies to transfer foil onto a substrate, cold foiling utilizes an adhesive and a foil film to achieve a similar effect. During the flexo printing process, a special adhesive is printed onto the substrate in the desired pattern where the foil will be applied.
